System architect / software developer for one of our scrum teams!

At the moment we are looking for more senior candidates, preferably with experience of system architecture roles or with the ambition to take on such a role. You will be working as a team member in one of our inhouse teams and be expected to contribute to their successful delivery to our customers.

To succeed as an ALTEN consultant it is not always the formal qualifications that is the most important. Of course you need a broad knowledge base, but it is as important to have the right attitude, to be passionate about what you do, to be curious and driven. Personal attributes that we value is your ability to act independent and that you are business minded. You are positive, outgoing, you have a curiosity on new technologies and you are a pro at creating and keeping good relations with our customers.

The requirements we have for this role are as follows;
- MSc with at least 4 years of relevant work experience or a PhD in relevant field.
- Primary languages C, Java and Python.
- Tool experience such as Jenkins, Gerrit and Git.
- Linux as both target and environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methods.
