Senior Backend Developer

We’re building a product that will be used by millions on a global market. In order to do this we’ve built a new platform that will enable us to run our business on a larger scale. As a Backend developer at Fyndiq you’ll play a key role in defining the technologies and tools we use in our platform, in that you have a huge impact on our journey towards a global market.

Your purpose is to:

- Explore, define and develop new technologies and architecture as well as re-evaluate existing ones to constantly improve our new platform and make it ready for millions of users
- Bring ideas and requirements to delivery while working in a cross functional development team.

- Contribute to delivering a great product through the backend community - sharing knowledge and learning from others.

To succeed in this role you have:

- Excellent development skills focused on backend, 5+ years of experience
- Proven track record in building complex systems
- Solid development skills in several language, preferable Python,Java or Scala.
- A Proactive , solution thinking mindset

Bonus points you might have:

- Experience of running microservices in the cloud
- Event sourcing and CQRS patterns
- Apache Kafka or Elasticsearch experience
