Website Quality Audit Associate with Finnish

Position Summary

Site Audit Team performs Site Quality Audit on Dell.com webpages as Dell is selling different equipment all over the world. The purchase is happening mostly online therefore we need our page to be clean, easy to use and most important error free. We are checking the site from the quality point of view.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Site Audit is a process to improve the business. The testing is performed in two environments - pre live and post live. Basically we are checking the files before going live. And after they are going live with specific tests and projects we are checking them post live.

E.g.: when a product is going to be launched. We need to announce and promote it therefore we have to check different advertisement banners and other materials. After that we need to check the technical specifications to assure we are legally covered and every detail of our products is correct.
Our Team has 3 locations: Romania, India and China. We support Russian, Polish, Portuguese, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French, German, English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Our plan is to extend the current number of languages we support to Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and Czech with a new location in Bratislava, Slovakia. The customer is based in US.

Global Online Quality Team (GOQ) is our internal customer for the Site Audit process. GOQ Team is part of the eDell initiative and is responsible for the overall Quality of Dell.com website. Dell.com contains more than 22 million pages and this Team is responsible for the overall Quality and Standards of these pages across the Globe. GOQ Team is a very demanding internal customer as the Quality of Dell.com website is critical to the Overall growth of Dell, as a large portion of our business is through the Dell.com portal.

- Performing audit and other related activities on web pages http://www.dell.com with respect to set guidelines.
- Reporting the errors found from audits performed on the web pages and also reported by Dell customers and employees.
- Providing a detailed analysis and recommendation on the errors found.
- Preparing and distribute reports that demonstrate audit results and trends.
- Participating and support in delivering results.
- Planning and Prioritizing day to day tasks
- Coordinating with large, global team for timing on audits of new pages / new products.
- Checking banners, images
- Small translations (max 2-3 phrases)
- Handling escalations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills required:

- Fluent in English and Proficient in both writing and reading in Finnish
- Demonstrate problem solving, organizational and solid communication skills and customer focus
- Self-driven detail-oriented team player
- Experience using search sites (like Google and Yahoo)
- Basics in some of the following areas: HTML, Java scripts, Flash; Website Content Management system; Video formats and image formats; Web analytic tools; Computer products and accessories; Search Engine Optimization and Concepts
- Professional certification in any computer technology is preferred
