Lead Software Engineer Gothenburg

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze, design, and develop code for all application tiers.
• Code, test, debug, and document programs on large-scale, complex projects.
• Revise and update programs and create documentation as required for requirements analysis, design specifications, deployment guides, test plans, or project work plans.
• Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.
• Establishes criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs.
• Assist in analyzing client processes through needs analysis and recommending new business models, workflows, or innovative solutions.
• Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences.
• Mentor other developers in technical areas and site modules around Web-based technologies, Software Development Process, and company standards and practices.
• Operational responsibility ensuring that data movement across systems is processing successfully at all times
• Work with both internal and vendor development / business teams
• Travel to client sites as needed.

Currently we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our Gothenburg office to join our Nordic team of professionals.

REQUIREMENTS
• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Mathematics, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in software design, systems integration and development or consulting.
• Minimum 3 years of development experience in core technologies. Specifically:
• .NET
• WPF
• REST/WEB API
• Redis
• SQL / RDBMS
• Experience programming in an Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns
• Experience in technical documentation using UML
• Experience in Full Project Lifecycle
• Requires the ability to establish solid working relationships with clients, plus the ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team and to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills are necessary.
