This leading telecom companie in Sweden are now looking for a driven and ambitious Data Engineer. 

The person we are looking for should have experience in applying ML to solve business problems and get business value from analytic insights. Best practice experience from working in companies excelling in Big Data and building Big Data pipelines is also desired.  

Technical skills:
• Advanced programming experience and at least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Skills in Hadoop, SQL, Git.
• Deployment and automation of machine-learning (ML) models
• Machine-learning on Spark and programming experience in Scala

Experience and knowledge in some of the following:
• Exploration of data and research oriented work
• Combining and mapping data sources to solve use case
• Integration of ML output into business processes
• CI/CD
• Using Scala on Spark
• Build, automate and document Big Data pipelines
• Hive, Python or R,

Deliveries:

• Create data products based on handover of explorative work from data scientist
• Refine the workflow around putting ML jobs into production in a CI/CD solution
• Ensuring a platform agnostic deployment process
• Best practice system/solution setup for a positive end-user experience

Personal profile:
• Communication skills – will interact with both business and IT
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in fields related to software engineering, data science, machine-learning or similar
