Today NCS Colour has sales in over 60 countries worldwide and offices in Stockholm, Berlin and Shanghai and forms the national colour standard in countries such as Sweden, Spain and South Africa. With growing business from digital products and services, we are now looking to strengthening our product development team with an experienced and dedicated mobile developer.

Role Responsibilities:

- Develop mobile applications for colour selection and colour communication
- Take on a leading technical role in internal as well as external development projects
- Exercise expertise in performance, architecture and software design to deliver compelling end user experiences
- Collaborate closely with other functions (e.g. colour specialists, product owner etc.) to ensure that the rights features are built at the right time,
- Create and maintain code test bed to make sure that we build stuff the right way
- Wherever necessary, assist in creating and maintaining product & process documentation

Required Skills:

We are first and foremost looking for a driven person that feels comfortable moving freely over the entire technology stack we operate in, developing enjoyable user experiences. You’re passionate about UX, performance, testing and automation and generally love writing beautiful and maintainable code.

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline
- At least 3 years’ professional experience developing Android/iOS applications
- Good understanding of iOS capabilities and constraints
- Highly proficient in iOS development (Swift or Objective-C)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Having worked with end-to-end testing (unit- integration and load testing)
- Familiarity with Agile processes
- Self-motivated and user focused
- Fluency in English (speech as well as writing)

Bonus Skills:

- Knowledgeable and having developed apps using React Native
- Having worked with Continuous Integration for test and build automation (e.g. Jenkins)
- Experience with .NET and C#
- Experience with integration of Bluetooth® devices is highly desirable
- Experience in Android development is a plus
- Experience with JavaScript/HTML4-5/CSS
- Experience in development of web applications
- Proficiency in Swedish (speech as well as writing)
