Service Desk Technician

Sinch is a new and rapidly growing tech company, with an SDK that makes adding voice and instant messaging to developers app really easy. We are a startup with a strong tech and business background and a platform powering millions of people today already.

Now we are looking for a Service Desk Technician to strengthen our IT Infrastructure team.

THE IT INFRASTRUCTURE TEAM

Today the team handles 300+ servers and clients, network, databases and storage that runs our production and internal platforms.

THE JOB

As a Service Desk Technician you’ll be the 1st line for all internal IT related errands, your responsibility is to solve them and escalate when needed. You’ll work on-site in the Stockholm office but also support our San Francisco office when needed.

Examples of what you will actually do:

• Prioritize user requests and escalate critical issues to senior systems staff and management
• Document errands via ticketing system
• Prepare workplaces for new employees, install computers, screen, monitors etc.
• Troubleshoot local pc client problems big as small
• Troubleshoot server problems
• Deploy new software and hardware
• Maintain our Active Directory, Exchange server and printers

Required skills:

• Basic knowledge in Windows server administration and Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge in Windows 7/8
• Good verbal and written skills in English

• Skills in network troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge in Mac OS X
• Driver license
