Senior Software Engineer in Product Development

Vizrt’s Software Engineers work in building next generation products that help broadcasters and organisations working with Media to have effective workflows around Media. You will join the Data & Asset Management domain as a Software Engineer with R&D teams based in Norway, Sweden and Austria. We are a domain with skilled developers that are in a transition to using new technologies, architecture patterns and deploying software to cloud infrastructures.
As a software Engineer in Vizrt:

You will work with solving problems and developing solutions with one of our cross functional teams.
You will design, develop and build backend services/components that together with other components to create cutting edge products
You will work in an environment that encourages your personal growth and provides opportunities to learn, share knowledge and bring your ideas forward
You will own the entire life cycle of the code

You should have:

More than 2 years experience in software development
Business fluency in English
Good knowledge in writing maintainable code
Good knowledge in working with databases
Good knowledge in Linux, preferable Red Hat, CentOS and SUSE-based distributions
Experience with software engineering best practices such as unit testing, continuous integration, code reviews, design documentation etc.

You might also have:

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience in building web api/backend services
Experience in continuous software development
Good knowledge in developing software for large scale distributed systems
Experience in programming with Golang, Python, Perl, .NET Core
Good knowledge of Microservice architecture patterns
Good knowledge of developing and designing REST interfaces
Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
Good knowledge in algorithms and data structures
