So who are we?
We are the Group for Hardware & Framework Verification at Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Volvo Group Trucks Technology in Gothenburg!

Our team verifies electrical system including End user functions and Framework of the trucks. We verify that the electrical system is behaving as intended by System Specifications regarding framework features of Application Network (ANW), Communication (CAN and LIN), Diagnostics Services and Power Management. By that we must establish automated testing and status visibility with the goal of continuous integration and delivery to achieve fast feedback during development.

Why do we do that?
As of the continuous development and increased complexity of the electrical architecture, there is an increased need of faster feedback and quality assurance earlier in development. What we develop is the pulse for the complete product development and for this we have a skilled agile team working with a lot of stakeholders to secure the requirements at all levels. This is the reason that you will not work at in IT department in the side, instead right in the center of the product development. This is a huge part in the transformation of Volvo being a leading software company in the automotive industry. In this position the main focus will be development and hands-on coding. This you will do in close cooperation with your team mates and end-user costumer. You will gain great understanding of the Volvo tool chains and processes; interact with a lot of people and with that have great possibilities for future career opportunities.

Who are you?
You have experience of working in an agile team with a high level of customer focus.
You have Strong coding skills especially in the area of object-orientation to deliver code for high performance and scalability. Previous experience within the automotive industry is merit.

We believe that you have passion about automated verification and testing and interested of understanding the complete work-chain and by that gain the knowledge to breakdown and prioritize the end-user requirements. On top of that you have customer focus, delivery precision, patience and good communication skills. On par with the rest of our team you are curious, positive, pro-active and want to transform the automotive business!

Requirements

M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, IT or recognized equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of agile software development
Programming C#, .Net
Experience of object oriented coding
Fluent in written and spoken English
