Backend Developer to Sportamore

Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a skilled Backend developer to join the team at Sportamore.
About the company

Sportamore is Scandinavias largest sports e-commerse actor offering the most extensive brand portfolio on the market. Sportamore is a young and steadily growing company with around 150 employees, located in Alvik with a beautiful costal view-office. At the moment there is a lot going on at Sportamore and they are growing the development team with both backend and fullstack developers.
About the Role

As a backend developer you will be working with development of their e-commerse, their advanced logistical system, webb system and other internal systems. They are advancing their technical aspects and your work will focus on new development and the development of new functions and solutions within their business critical system. The tech team currently consists of 15 dedicated developers working with new development, maintaining their current systems and everything in between.
Besides looking for skilled developers, Sportamore are also looking for someone who can take on a team lead role, providing the right personality and experience to the team. Still wanting to work hands on with development, but being able to lead and coach the team as well.
All backend development at Sportamore is in Python using Django as the main framework. The frontend development is in JavaScript in their own custom framework that they built inhouse (migrating to React during this fall/new year). The server side is Solr with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Sportamore are always striving to take things to the next level and encourage all employees to share their ideas and take part in creating an open and creative atmosphere.
Sportamore Are Looking For

Sportamore are looking for someone with a couple of years of experience (and also more senior profiles) of backend/fullstack development. Preferably, you have experience from Open Source programming (since Sportamore are Open Source lovers). As a person you are a skilled problem solver and communicative. You have an eye for details, a curious mindset and a genuine interest for developing clean code. You prefer working in an agile and ever changing environment with short decision paths, and you also like to be an independent part of a group working towards common goals and have no problem cooperating with other teams to problem solve and streamlining the workflow.
