Senior Data Scientist

We are now currently recruiting within the Data Analytics area and are looking for those who have been working as Data Scientist for some years and are ready to develop their skills to the next level.

As data scientist you will work with develop methodology and technology for advanced analytics you will amongst other things develop and apply machine learning algorithm.

Our Development unit develops the software which controls, supervises and analyzes the base station functionality, which enables our mobile networks around the world. These mobile networks handle huge amounts of data, are the core to the accelerating digital transformation, and builds our connected IoT society where everything that can be connected will be connected.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidates have some years experience of Software development in the Data Analytics field. You will be highly involved in the development of a wide range of innovative software products within the latest technology.

To succeed in these positions you have a strong drive and aim for results. You work equally well individually as in a group. You have high energy levels, are willing to learn new tasks and are a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skills with your colleagues.

These positions are based in Göteborg in modern facilities at Lindholmen Science Park.

Qualifications:

For this position you have a relevant University degree, M.Sc. within Physics, Statistics, Mathematics or similar as well as preferably 2-5 years experience within Data Analytics.

A successful candidate will have experience in some of these areas:

· Machine learning and statistics

· Software development: Data warehousing, data and machine learning pipelines/flows, micro services/cloud, Git, Linux, CI and unit testing

· Frameworks and applications: Spark, Hadoop, Luigi, Redis, MapR, Tableau, Tensorflow

· Programming Languages: Python, Scala, Java, R, SQL

· Communication skills: Data visualization, presentations, written text

You are fluent in English, written as well as spoken.
