Overview
SCA IT Services is looking for an IT Operations Specialist to maintain and support the application-hosting platforms used by SCA.
This position is part of the Infrastructure Services, Platform Management Microsoft team, which is responsible for the infrastructure and integration of an flora of applications and systems used by SCA globally and across all sites, such as Exchange, Lync, CRM B2B (MS Dynamics), CRM B2C (CAS), MS SQL, SharePoint, Web sites and Web applications. You share responsibility for all support, operations and maintenance in this area. The team goal for this position is to ensure that the application infrastructure on the Microsoft platform is set-up, configured, operated and maintained in an optimal way for SCA. You provide operational support, for our entire application infrastructure, to all our customers and partners as well as within our team and among our OneIT Organization.
The position is primarily located in Gothenburg (other locations might be considered) and reports to the IT Manager, Platform Manager Microsoft.

Main Tasks
Support, operate, monitor and maintain the application-hosting infrastructure based on Windows Server, MS IIS and MS SQL platforms, Exchange, Lync,  Sharepoint, Epi-server/Tridium platforms as well as a flora of client-server applications such as MS Dynamics, CAS, Mediabank etc.
Troubleshooting and performance tuning of application and web-sites in cooperation with the application teams
Deploy changes and updates in production applications and web-sites/applications.
Monitor and operate applications and web-sites with the help of System Center Operations Manager
Maintenance and administration of DNS, certificates, Windows servers and clusters
Work with Powershell scripting
Participating in IT projects
Closely cooperate with other Infrastructure Services employees, the Application teams and the SCA business

Key Competencies
Technical Competencies and/or experiences required

Generalist in various Microsoft applications and technologies
Knowledge and experience in Windows Server
Windows Hosting
MSSQL Server
Active Directory
PKI / certificates
Network architecture (WAN/LAN routing, switching, DNS)

  Required Education and experience

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
Experience of support and operations in an international organization
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining applications in a Windows Hosting environment
Fluent in English
Knowledge and experience of open-source technologies such as Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP is meritorious
