We face the challenge of designing and implementing a scalable cloud solution that can serve millions of users. Our aim is to deliver the most cutting-edge agile collaboration tool, accessible on the web and through mobile devices, by leveraging the experience we have from developing the Hansoft native agile tool.

You will be joining a small, high-performing team building the product from the ground up. The application is built on the Meteor framework, which allows for extremely rapid development, and interesting scaling challenges.

You are a knowledgeable front-end developer, well-versed in current HTML and CSS best practices, with a deep understanding of the web application landscape and the Javascript frameworks that go along with it. You feel capable of turning highly usable designs into reality without compromise, and how to leverage off-the-shelf web components to get there fast.

Responsibilities

• Work in a tight, collaboration-crazy team to implement new ideas

• Debug and implement new code within Meteor development framework

• Implement highly usable designs in a usability-tested environment

• Drive the team’s understanding of tools and technologies in the web development landscape

• Participate in peer code reviews

Required Qualifications

• You have been a high-performing member of a web development team for at least five years

• You are passionate about coding for web and mobile

• You have an expert understanding of web technologies and mobile platforms

• You are fluent in English

• You are self motivated, while also able to collaborate within the team

Desired Qualifications

• You have worked on a team that uses agile practices such as Scrum

The position will be based out of our office right in the centre of Uppsala, Sweden’s fourth largest municipality. Perhaps best known for its large 15th century university founded in 1477, the city also offers beautiful surroundings, a lively cultural scene and a quickly expanding high technology business sector. Commuter distance to Stockholm city is 40 minutes and 20 minutes to main airport Arlanda.
