Data Guru and Analyst (Big Data / AI)

We are looking for a well rounded data engineer to join our team in supporting both legacy systems and new development projects by data management, analysis and the design of new systems including AI and Machine Learning.

This role is active in 2 primary areas:

1. Legacy support: Our flagship production platform has a complex database design that stores terabytes of data and ingests more on a daily base. The role is for maintenance and data manipulation

2. Systems design and analysis for our newer projects: Analysis to find optimizations and design support to our software team for efficient data handling

Job Responsibilities:

• Further develop our AI / Machine Learning instruments to structure millions of products
• Refine matching and analysis logic and algorithms
• Create reports to guide priorities for the Quality Assurance team

Our production platform has been reliable over the past years and while the primary responsibility in this role is to provide support in keeping it running, there are multiple improvements and brand new development in the pipeline leveraging the latest technologies. In this role you could be additionally involved in those processes depending on your skills and interests.

Requirements:

• Interest in Consumer Electronics and pattern recognition
• Higher education in such areas as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or any other data related field
• Strong understanding of databases and data structure
• Ability to design, build, and maintain the production pipelines and data warehousing
• Expertise in data modeling and query performance tuning. Experience with (any)SQL server is an advantage
• Ability to handle-multiple and simultaneous tasks
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Availability to work full time in our Stockholm HQ

• GCP database operations experience
