At Billogram, we transform invoicing into a shared and interactive meeting place that creates value for both buyers and sellers. Our belief and motivation is that invoicing should be a positive and valuable user experience.

Our goal is to disrupt the invoicing industry. To empower the user and build something that never existed before. With that comes a lot of product challenges: We’re looking for someone to help us take our vision and rough ideas into solid and actionable projects, all the way from research to wireframing and UI.

The position involves understanding the problem, constraints and business perspectives while moving our product forward at a steady pace — without compromising on quality. “What are we building? What are we not building? What’s the scope of this project?” are all important questions that we ask ourselves and need help answering.

About you
We think that you’re a great problem solver, have an excellent ability to communicate your design work to others and thrive in a collaborative environment. You’re curious and compassionate. You take ownership of your designs and are comfortable with your abilities. Yet you know how, and when, to change your mind.

You have a great eye for both form and function, and value their mutual relationship in a successful design. Wireframing, as well as sketching on a whiteboard or piece of paper, is second nature to you. The same goes for the importance of qualitative copywriting in a good user experience.

You have 2+ years of professional experience designing for mobile and desktop products with long-term goals
Experience working with alternative control methods and “non-visual” user interfaces
You have a few years of hands-on experience designing UI’s and user flows for web-based products
You have experience building lightweight prototypes in software such as Sketch or Invision
You have prior experience creating personas, and you’ve made strategic product decisions (long and short term) based on these personas
You have experience conducting user studies and other types of design research for an actual, shipped product
You’ve worked as part of a product team, close to developers and other stakeholders
You have intermediate knowledge in CSS/HTML and JS, and you know how to communicate your design decisions to developers in realistic, actionable ways
You have great “artistic” knowledge and know how to use this ability in order to create successful designs that engage and carry the user through an interface
You’re a great UI copywriter, and you know when to present a feature with plain text, and when to use a visual indicator (icon etc)

Prior experience working with 2D animation and motion design is a big plus

About the team
We’re a cross-disciplinary product development team that builds and maintains the entire system. In addition to a group of designers with diverse and overlapping skills, you’ll work closely with developers, QA, the CEO and other business folks.

We work in an agile team with high flexibility where everyone has a chance to influence their day-to-day and long-term work. Collaborative workshops and paper prototyping is core to our design process. Fat whiteboard markers, stacks of post-it notes and Sketch will soon be among your best friends, if they aren't already.
