Assignment description
Our client is looking for aUX Product designer.Considering the whole scope of UX you are to challenge and innovate the way our users interact with the whole eco-system of products and services (in-screen, interior, exterior, C&M and relevant services). You will work within the Interior and UX Design department. The UX department is a true cross-functional team where inter-disciplinary focus, curiosity and drive are highly valued. You will work in close collaboration with the Advance, Interior, Exterior and C&M Design teams. You will also have close cooperation with Engineering, Marketing and Product planning.
Your everyday task will as a minimum consist of:
- Create UX concepts and specifications based on the costumers’ expectation and brand values.
- Expert in digital interaction best practices and validation methods - only Senior level
- Up to date with latest micro-interaction trends and state of the art UI.
- Drive for exploring new ways of interacting with the interior/exterior of the car and the system.
- Conceptualize your ideas in deliverable material.
- Create compelling sketches that showcases your concept following and shaping thebrand design.
- Take a design from sketch phase to concept modeling in Alias or clay as well as wireframes specifying the interaction concept.
- Good knowledge of CAD 3D design process and software such as Alias, Photoshop and VRED
- Prototype driven design process
- Manage and keep track of implementation plans and Design deadlines.
- Perform tests and user clinics of your concept
- Help making the UX departments vision as clear and tangible as possible
- Help merge the UX Design process with the rest of the Design areas.
- Be a UX evangelist at all moments
Requirements:
Senior Level
- B.Sc. Interaction design, Industrial or transportation design or a Master’s degree in any of the
- previously mentioned educations. We are looking after the combination of this disciplines. New
- inter-disciplinary programs are of inters.
- Relevant working experience within UX/UI.
- Automotive experience is an advantage.
- English, spoken and written
- Driver’s license
Intermediate level
- B.Sc. Interaction design, Industrial or transportation design or a Master’s degree in any of the previously mentioned educations. We are looking after the combination of this disciplines. New inter-disciplinary programs are of inters.
- Relevant working experience within UX/UI
- Ability to drive, motivate and convince
- Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
- Communicative with good verbal and visual presentation skills.
- Independent and confident as well as a good team player
- Structured, methodical, and analytical with good planning skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze requirements from upper management.
- Highly motivated, flexible, and able to work under constrained time schedules
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian and European culture
- Automotive experience is an advantage.

Additional information
- Travels to Asia may be needed (approx. 2-3 per year).
