Diagnostics Base tech analyse engineer

Base technology testing implies both integration and system testing. In integration testing we verify compatibility between ECU hardware and ECU software, whereas system testing involves the complete vehicle such as Diagnostics, Communication *Physical layer, datalink layer, SWDL or Gateway communication etc. within the vehicle's electrical system.

Main responsibilities:

We are now looking for new colleagues that will be working in the agile team Diagnostics, within the ART (Agile Release Train) enabling Base Technology as an analyze engineer. In your agile team you and your developers will be working closely to other ARTs and teams as well as with suppliers to secure your area. You have a scrum master and a product owner to guide you with daily backlog.

A system tester within diagnostics tests the requirements within this area using the below mentioned tools in boxcars. You will need to have a strong analyze head and to be a team player.

Required qualifications
* M.Sc. or B.Sc. within computer science, electronics, physics, mechatronic or equivalent
* Experience of one or several tools such as: Vector tool Analyzer and CANoe
* Experience in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python and to be able to use CAPL scripting
* Experience of analyzing CANoe logs
* Experience within Volvo Cars is meritorious
* Experience of the tools VTF (Volvo Test Framework), PL (Pararell diagnostics) DSA/DVA is meritorious
* Basics knowledge in OTX, ODX, DOIP, CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet
* Certified by “International Software Testing Qualifications Board” (ISTQB) is meritorious

* You are comfortable with analysing logs and is interested to putting the puzzles together
* You have a positive attitude and are a team player
* You are organized and structured in following up the work
* You have a mind-set that is working cross functional and agile
* You are not limited to asking questions and to develop your field
* You don’t hesitate to take responsibility and take on tasks
* You have good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
