We are on our way to revolutionizing the accounting business. For us, this involves creating the next generation user experience that will be primarily developed for mobile. Ridiculously easy – is how we expect first time business owners to experience accounting when interacting with our new services. Along the way, we will be challenging existing truths about how companies work with their accounting. Our intent is to become market leading.

For this purpose we are setting up a Lean Startup (within SpeedLedger).

Our Lean Startup team is a small independent unit that has all competencies required (Tech, Design, Business) to move forward. Our mission is to establish Product-Market-Fit for accounting/administrative products targeted towards newly started small businesses. Important aspects in this will be: MVP to test leap-of-faith assumptions, minimized Build-Measure-Learn feedback loops, experiments and validated learning. Our team’s entire focus will be on the new offering.

Since we are a small team, this requires that we (including you) have a broad perspective as well as depth of skills combined with a quickness  to learn new/latest technologies. We believe that you have an eagerness to take on large responsibility at the same time as valuing great collaboration and helping each other out.

As our Lean Startup’s first person with front-end focus your primary perspective will span from creating super intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, implementing these in code and prototypes all the way to contributing to overall product architecture & front-end strategy.

You will:
* Rapidly convert your understanding and ideas into working code and product.
* Iteratively design and develop web-based/mobile front-ends with end-users for our new product
* Design and implement experiments to test assumptions/hypotheses and identify value
* Work in a creative atmosphere and be part of a high-tempo team that has a clear sense of purpose.

Who are you?
* You have several years (4+) of front-end web & mobile design and development experience.
* Ideation comes naturally to you and you easily implement your ideas in prototypes and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React.
* You are experienced in user interaction and design, using tools such as Sketch, InVision, Photoshop.
* You have experience designing around browser and mobile constraints and have good understanding of trade-offs related to Native, Hybrid and Responsive designs.
* Your perspective extends beyond the technical – you have learned to love the problem, not just the solution.
* You like to work with hypotheses and experiments. You are experienced in measuring and acting on collected data (qualitative and quantitative).
* You have actively contributed to open source communities or alternatively worked at developing some projects/ideas of your own.
* You have a relevant university education.
