Your main media consumption is on mobile. That’s true about our customers and us as well. Now we’re building a new team at Pingdom to revolutionize mobile apps, just as we did with monitoring.

You’re probably sick and tired of building music apps or games with candy pieces. At Pingdom we know that truly excellent mobile apps solve problems and help people in their everyday lives. Together with you, we want to build mobile apps and make a difference for our hundreds of thousands of users around the world.

We want to give you the opportunity to focus on what you’re really passionate about and good at: developing mind-blowing mobile apps. At Pingdom you’ll be part of a really tight team of talented developers, working closely with marvelous Backend Developers, Strategists, Designers and Project Managers. The largest companies in the world, as well as the "in-crowd" will use your apps. So when we go to San Francisco, you’ll be hanging with the folks at Instagram, Twitter, Github and other awesome Silicon Valley companies.

Your passion for the mobile platform is what distinguishes you and you’re always up to date on the latest in iOS, development and new technologies. You’re basically the kind of person who both understands why an app becomes popular and also how you technically would have built it if you had the chance.

We believe the following is largely true regarding your background:

• You’re really good at Objective-C and Cocoa Touch Framework.
• Out of curiosity, you’ve probably already started looking at Swift.
• You have previously developed apps for App Store.
• You use test-driven development (TDD) from the beginning of your projects.
