Job description

We are looking for a Software Developer to Atlas Copco Industrial Technique.

My name is Henrik Öhrlund and I am leading the Tool Embedded Software Team at the Mechatronics Department, R&D. The team consists of about 14 friendly colleagues in a good mix between young professionals and senior developers, and what makes me proud is the team’s drive to always find a better way and that we always have time to help a colleague in need.

Together we participate in the development of maintainable embedded real-time software, in order to deliver long-lasting solutions to the customers of Atlas Copco. We work in an agile environment, where new initiatives and possibilities constantly emerge.

What you need to succeed

You have an academic degree (e.g. M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar and a sincere interest in software development. No worries, have you obtained your knowledge in some other way you can still apply.

You have solid experience in software development using C or C++ for embedded systems, and also a genuine passion for developing maintainable solutions.

As for your personality, you are a motivated and positive team player that likes to work close to your team members and exchange ideas. You are a person with a holistic approach and ability to see the customer perspectives. We think that your passion for finding solutions and solve problems is great. Last but not least, you are flexible and communicative.

It is considered a qualification if you have knowledge of development under both Windows and Linux, and have worked close to the hardware before.

Since Atlas Copco is a global company with employees from all over the world and uses English as a corporate language, you are probably fluent in English.
