Cloud Operations Engineer

We are looking for motivated people with a passion for working with critical and complex IT systems to join our Medical IT Cloud Operations team. You will work in a team that share a passion for technology and that operates Sectra's products in a private cloud environment for our cloud customers. It is all about providing our customers with robust services from Sectra's award winning medical products.

In this position, you will:

Deploy Medical IT systems in a private cloud environment.
Operate and provide support for the systems.
Continuously improve the deployed systems and use automation of various kinds.
Collaborate with both Cloud Infrastructure team as well as customer service teams.
Work with IT security for the systems.
Cooperate with product development to optimize for cloud delivery.
Become an expert in one or more of the applicable standards and Open Source Software Projects.
Evolve our way of working – we can always make things better!

For this position, the following requirements apply:

At least a three years of university education in engineering science or IT with very good grades.
Fluency in English and Swedish.
You just love to develop new technology!
You have recently graduated or have a couple of years of working experience.
You value customer contact and thrive in a fast-paced technological environment.
You care about quality and stability of systems.

Assets

In addition, we consider it an asset if you also:

Speak more languages than those required above.
Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying (if you happen to have pilot’s license, you can fly to our customers in our own Sectra airplane) or anything else that makes you stand out from the crowd.
Have experience in Windows Server system administration, Active Directory or SQL Server.
Have experience in Linux system administration.
Have experience within IT Security.
Have experience of clinical use of software applications in the healthcare domain.
Have experience of operations on Openstack cloud platform and/or using CEPH storage system.
Have experience of agile methods and building quality in from the beginning.
Have experience of Open Source Software.
Have experience of software development using Microsoft technologies (C#, .Net, SQL Server).
