Who we are
You will be part of Core Services & Integrations, within Application Development at IT. We are responsible for a wide range of core services within Axis, where we integrate outputs from and inputs to various departments and services. Examples are Product information system, FW distribution and Login solutions, which all are used internally as well as by millions of our customers and partners. Our systems are either developed from the ground up and maintained by the team themselves, or when suitable built upon third party products. Axis is as a market leader in network video, on a journey moving from being a product centric company towards a solutions and services driven company. Our department is heavily involved in this transformation, with high requirements on security, scalability and availability.

The department consists of two distinct but collaborating teams, owning their separate services with a great independence and responsibilities. We deliver solid solutions with a focus on long term architecture and security in mind. The team spirit is high, and all colleagues contribute with their different and unique competences and skills. Your future team mates with disciplines of Frontend, Backend, QA and Product Owner, like to work in close cooperation and believe in sharing knowledge and experiences with each other. We do this by having design discussions, pair programming and code reviews, but also recurring Lunch & Learn and innovation days. Who you are
Technologies are developing rapidly, and we want to keep up with the pace. You need to have an extensive experience and background in the area to ensure that our team keep up with current technologies and how we work with our Frontend solutions. You are proficient in techniques such as HTML5, CSS and Javascript (ES6), but also frameworks as React and Angular. You have worked with tools such as Babel, Gulp/Webpack, npm/yarn and GIT. You enjoy and have been involved in architectural design work, developed scalable solutions and created mockups.

We are looking for a driving force within Frontend development, to lead our Frontend strategies within the department. You will be an important resource within the daily work but also work with more long-term solutions together with other experienced colleagues. Usability and understanding of how our solutions function are of great importance. You will work in close cooperation with system owners and every day users, and together develop the best solutions.

It is important that you as a person enjoy being part of a team working closely together. You are happy to participate and contribute with your knowledge, help others and ask for help yourself when needed. You are a driven person that loves programming and technical challenges.
