We are currently looking to recruit an Embedded Software System Engineer TCMS (Train Control and Monitoring System) for our site in Vastaras in Sweden.

YOUR ROLE

Participating Product development projects and Maintenance activities for development / maintenance / enhancements of Control and HMI components for the TCMS Base Platform. Development includes embedded software and hardware, or both.

YOUR TASKS

Participate in product development projects, developing embedded software using C/C++/Linux.
Participate and drive technical investigations for the components in scope.

• Engineering Degree, or Master of Science (preferably within system design or software) engineering.
• Embedded software development (ideally C/C++)
• Technical experience in development of embedded software and knowledge about embedded hardware.
• Linux, CI, Jenkins, vx-works, automatic building/testing would be advantageous.
• Experience with Rational team concert (RTC – IBM would be ideal)
• AGILE, Scrum experience (ideal)
• Experience in delivering on commitments
• Ideally knowledge and experience of industrial or railway safety standards (IEC61508/EN50128/EN60567/EN50129)
