To our IT Development Center in Stockholm we are now looking for an experienced Java engineer to help form the future of our corporate travel platform. You will work in a team of world-class engineers and architects driving the technology vision in our domain to create tomorrow’s corporate travel platform.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop and maintain services for the corporate travel system system, with focus on efficiency, scalability and stability
* Code in Java in a distributed cloud environment (interfacing to services written in Ruby on Rails and front end clients written in Javascript).
* Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
* Maintain and improve overall quality of the catalog
* Integrate with content suppliers
* Work in a small team using Agile and Lean practices

Requirements

* You are fluent in more than one programming language besides Java (preferrably Ruby and Javascript)
* You have experience of TDD and feel comfortable creating code with a test coverage of 99% or more
* You can spell out the acronym HATEOAS without googling it
* Lean and Kanban are not just buzzwords to you
* Continuous Deployment is something you really long for and you really don’t understand how people can live without it.
* At least 3 years of relevant working experience
* M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent is a plus
* You care about what you do, you’re passionate about it, and others know this
* You’re not satisfied with simply following specifications, but enjoy pair programming, exploratory programming, code reviews and interacting with others to shape the application and your code.
* Since we believe that collaboration and communication are cornerstones of outstanding product development you need to speak and write excellent English. Knowing the language of the natives (Swedish) will of course make it easier to become a member of the tribe.
