The Windows Development Function within Sandvik Coromant’s IT department, support our business with edge Windows development within the area of Digital Machining. We work according to set processes and conditions to develop and rebuild innovative solutions to drive Sandvik Coromant’s success. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for two Senior System Developers to join us in enabling a digital future success for our company. Key performance areas
As Senior System Developer, you are part of a small but experienced team, where you develop solutions in accordance with business demands, and ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. You are responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing software solutions in near co-operation with our business partners. You are part of the whole life-cycle of the development process which include pre-studies, system specifications and time estimates. You determine software requirements and develop solutions, considering scalability, security, accessibility and extendibility. Furthermore, you are a part of our Application Management team in supporting the solutions that has been established.
We are looking for you with relevant technical degree and a background in the latest Windows development technology to support edge computing, where .NET Core and experience from Azure (Logic App, Service Fabric, App Service) is central. We also believe you are technically skilled with TFS, Angular, SQL Server and Web development. A background within Sandvik or/and as an IT consultant is also considered advantageous. As we operate in an international setting, you need excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and additional language skills in Swedish are beneficial.
