Cognitive Researcher and Developer

Operator Environment has an exciting opportunity for a Cognitive Researcher and Developer to join our Human Factors team.

This position on our team is responsible for aligning our products and services with the client requirements and expectations. It is important to understand how technology works and how to align those efforts with the client need. The role is a part of core UX teams developing and implementing solutions. That are to be fit-for-purpose, efficient, and of high quality.

The selected candidate conducts user research, design, development, execution, and implementation of technology research projects related to revolutionary research in HMI (human-machine interaction).

This area of interest include: human behavior and cognitive modeling, behavior changing knowledge as well as understanding autonomous machines and remote platforms.

Responsibilities include:
Defining and executing research tasks, collect and analyze data, being a part of the project, serving as technical lead but also maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principle and theories relevant within the cognitive ergonomics area of HMI. You will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated product team, alongside product owners, software engineers, and analysts, as well as part of a broader UX design & engineering community.
