Mobile Application Developer, Web based technologies

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Application Developers with strong experience in building native mobile web based applications using HTML and JavaScript to develop new products for the next generation of business applications in the Cloud. You will collaborate with teams that include developers and non-developers to shape the functionality and user experience of mobile and desktop products for one of the largest enterprise software companies in the world.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years hands-on programming experience in a professional environment
• 2+ years experience with mobile application development
• Computer Science degree or relevant experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Solid knowledge of mobile applications building and deployment with Cordova or PhoneGap
• Solid experience with one or more of NodeJS, AngularJS, React, HTML, Javascript and CSS3
• Experience creating off-line capable mobile solutions
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Able to create and evolve database schemas, solid understanding of normalization techniques
• Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN)
• Strong experience with web standards; browser capabilities and shims/polyfills; mobile device capabilities and limitations; best-practice development techniques
• Write clean, semantic, valid, cross browser, modular, commented code
• Solid ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent creative problem solving skills
• Can verbally and diagrammatically communicate complex technical concepts to colleagues and non-technical stakeholders
• Passion for innovative technologies

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Experience developing framework(s), custom controls and large-scale web applications in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS features
