We at Fairlo, are building the most transparent, customer-centric, fair and _easy-to-use micro-loans platform _and we are looking for our lead JS developer/CTO to join our team.

We are changing the way people solve their unexpected expenses and we want to call ourselves a “Tech-Fin” startup instead of fin-tech because we believe all the business and financial possibilities to empower our users can only be realized with a right tech lead in the team.

What have we accomplished?

• Launched Fairlo on the April of 2018 with an overwhelming positive response from our users.
• We have more than 600 people using Fairlo in Sweden now growing at a rate of 100+users every month.
• We also recently joined the Sting accelerator as one of the top 8 startups of Stockholm and now we’re ready to scale global.
• Fairlo is funded for the future both by the founders and angel investors.

What’s our current challenge? Why do we need a CTO?

One of the biggest challenges within microloan industry is making flexibility accessible to users. If you look at any existing payday loan or micro-loan product, they would be extremely closed and dominant keeping their users in the dark with no transparency on information, interests, costs and options.

We’re changing that and that would be our first technical challenge. To design and develop simple, transparent and elegant ways for our users to opt, leave and switch plans anytime they want.

MEAN-stack is our platform. We believe you also see the benefit of this technology and want to join us in developing our platform to the next level and making it ready to scale globally.

Being a financial product, security, design, responsiveness and scalability are all challenges we’d need to solve as we progress.

Skills & Requirements

1. We’re looking for a fullstacker within JavaScript with solid dev background in designing and scaling systems.
2. As we had said, MEAN-stack is our platform. So if you had worked with Angular, Express, mongodb and node, it’s a BIG plus.
