Veoneer is looking for a Database Expert

Do you want to work in an international environment with exciting challenges within technology, product- and production development? Then the position as the Database Expert might be just for you. Because as the Database Expert you’ll be responsible for the production database at Veoneer as well as the surrounding systems. You’ll be out local expert for our databases and database administration. You’ll work strategically with the development and implementation of our global standards on our production database and database management. You’ll be in the forefront of the technological development to be able to meet the increased need of process analysis

Additionally, you’ll work with our Webb-development and C# programming. You’ll also be one of our local IT pillars in all questions related to databases and its process

We believe that you’re a person who are seeking new and exciting challenges within electronics, data or programming. You already have a solid knowledge within databases and database administration and excellent knowledge within MS SQL Servers, after working with it for 5-8 years and your experience with C# is just a bonus

We presume that you thrive working both locally as well as globally, in an environment of constant learning and discovering new ways of working. Where you can put your database and problem-solving skills to good use. You are strategic and can with ease understand different kind of technical issues, both practical and theoretical. You enjoy working independently and driving your own processes but understand your role while working cross functionally and what we’re all trying to accomplish together. Since you’re used to working in international environments you’re no stranger to the English language or communicating to people from different parts of the world. Although, also being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited
