Job Description

We’re looking for a talented developer with a huge passion for mobile games development. In our technical department we need someone who would be prepared to adapt to new platforms and languages at a moment’s notice. Having an interest or knowledge in Unity3D will make you stand out in our eyes. Your role here at FEO Media AB would be as a creative game developer building the next generation of (hopefully) viral games. Nothing at FEO Media is set in stone, so if you have a great idea and the ambition to work for it, it can become reality!

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience (studies or previous work) with an objective language (e.g. Java, C# or Objective C)
• Experienced in a scripting language  (e.g. Python, Ruby, Bash)     
• You have something cool to show us -  we are curious to know about any projects large or small that you have worked with before (apps, websites, games, github repository, etc.)
• Have good knowledge of git and use it on a regular basis
• A degree within computer science, information technology, game development or other relevant education
• Great English skills, both oral and written

Desired qualifications

• Experience working with mobile development for Android, iOS or Windows Phone
• Experience with Unity3D
• Experience working on mobile deployments of Unity3D apps
• Have worked on several game projects
• Experience working with Python and/or Google App Engine

• You constantly seek out new technologies and ways to expand your technical know-how
• You are a self-learner and have the ability to pick up in areas where you are not that well experienced
• You are “Prestigeless” and work well in teams
• You are passionate not only about your work but for start ups/tech environment as well
• You have many pet projects or contributions to open source project

FEO Media is an independent, tech-driven mobile games developer based in Stockholm, Sweden. We were founded in 2011 by two sets of brothers with tech and programming backgrounds. Our team develops social games for smartphones and tablets that aim to combine an engaging user experience with quality content. Quizkampen is our social quiz game with almost 50 Million users in 19 different countries across the globe.

Located in a hotbed of tech start-ups, our open-plan Stockholm office is nestled in the beating heart of the Södermalm district. Ideas are hatched over fika and games of ping-pong. The team is made-up of over 40 individuals from more than 20 countries drawn from 5 continents.
