Unity Developer at Hello Future in Sweden

Hello Future is a digital transformation agency. We help our clients create innovative digital products and services, improve their skills and knowledge about our digital economy and we also help them organize their work in new and improved ways. Our team is a mix of software engineers, designers and business developers.

As a Unity developer at Hello Future, you will work on a wide range of software projects and products, ranging from new innovative AR/VR startups to 3D-configurator software for industries.

Most often you will work as the single Unity developer in a team, and you will be a part of the project from the initial contact with the client to the deployment of the end result. You will do everything from taking part in initial meetings with new clients where we discuss and decide the way forward to estimating the workload and finally - of course - developing and deploying the system.

For most of the projects you will work closely together in a project team, usually consisting of you, a UX designer and in some cases one or more Unity developers and a backend developer. At Hello Future, we do not believe that a dedicated internal project manager is needed for each project. Instead we value each and everyone's ability to take responsibility for their own work and the end result - communicating fluently within the organization.

As far as requirements go, we are pretty open minded. If you feel like you are the person we are looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us! It will help a lot if you have at least 3 years experience in 3D software development and a bachelor’s degree or higher in Linear Algebra and software development - and the more of the below listed responsibilities and skill sets you feel fits your bill, the better!

These will be your main responsibilities here at Hello Future:
- Develop, maintain and deploy Mobile, Web and Desktop applications created with Unity.
- Develop and maintain 3D applications created with Unity.
- Develop and maintain AR/VR applications created with Unity.
- Keeping up to date with the latest on Unity and 3D software development.
- Brainstorm and collaborate continuously with team members and clients.
- Collaborate with a team to develop and complete projects.

Skill sets you currently have, or are eager to learn:
- Strong knowledge of Object-oriented programming.
- Strong knowledge of the C# language.
- Strong knowledge of Linear Algebra.
- Experience with the Unity platform.
- Experience with developing 3D software / games.
- Experience in developing AR/VR applications.
- Experience in working with multithreaded software.
- Experience in working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with working in a project team.
- Experience with maintaining and debugging other developers codebase.
- Experience in developing Native mobile applications.
- Experience in developing Web applications.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development projects.
- Experience with git, svn or other modern version control systems.
- Basic knowledge of Blender.
