About The Team

NetEnt are now looking for a software engineer to further strengthen one of the Gaming Services teams, part of Platform, responsible for building microservices with Kafka Streams, using Docker in Kubernetes. You will be part of driving the next generation of their platform, towards a full event-driven microservices architecture for business agility. The vision for Gaming Services is to make sure we are the number one choice to run games for internal and external game studios. The focus for the teams in Stockholm is to build scalable services that handles the game spins and focus on delivering and serving games, including game execution and deployment APIs. 

This role gives you the opportunity to work with talented and humble people in a cross-functional and self-organizing team with full E2E ownership. You will have the ability to directly influence your team’s way of working and together you get full freedom and responsibility to make sure your product exceeds customer’s expectations. They strive to be the best at what they do all the way from design to deployment.

To successfully navigate in the role, you have gathered thorough knowledge in Java, feel comfortable driving your team’s solutions and you are experienced enough to know that there is always more to learn. Experience of working with Spring Boot, Kafka, Microservices, Linux environments, containers and continuous delivery to production, will give you an extra edge. As a person you are strong in your communication skills. You possess a collaborative and learning mindset and you take responsibility by being driven in your work. Complex systems in something you find thrilling and you enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment with a business and quality focus.
