VFX Artist

We are now looking for a VFX Artist to join our Game Studio in Malmö.

Look and feel is central to the player experience, and we aim to make the best looking casino games the world has ever seen. As a VFX Artist at Relax Gaming, you will create jaw-dropping visual effects that come alive and reward our players. Our dream candidate for this position is not only a pro animator but also a positive team player that gladly shares opinions and appreciates having lots of creative input.

Responsibilities:
- Creating animations, particles, sprite sheets, geometry, and textures
- Creating stunning effects that reward players as well as communicate in-game information
- Establishing and maintaining a VFX asset pipeline

Requirements:

- Completed education or equivalent work experience as an animator or VFX Artist
- Solid understanding of animation principles
- Excellent understanding of visual communication and user experience
- Ability to create assets and animations for a wide range of art styles
- You can create original texture sprites and sprite sheets to create particle effects
- Technical insight and familiarity with performance requirements as well as
- Experience from optimization of VFX to run smoothly on a wide range of devices
- Knowledge in building VFX libraries
- Experience using Adobe After Effects and Creative Cloud software
- Experience using particle editors for pre-visualizing VFX
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace having many projects running at the same time

Bonus Points for:
- Experience using Spine animation software
- 2D painting skills
- 3D animation and rigging
- Experience with JavaScript and HTML5 game development
- Interest in casino games

The Malmö studio is perfectly located on Lilla torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of the city. It’s a five minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right outside our doorstep.
