ALTEN is growing and new exciting opportunities continue to grow with it, we are now looking for a Battery Expert. As a Battery Expert, you will work with Battery Management Systems (BMS) to ensure that Traction Batteries are utilised well. Some specific tasks include, battery fabrication, age analysis, testing and performance evaluation. As you will work as a consultant, you will need to interact with suppliers, customers and other internal stakeholders. Therefore, we presume that you have a communicative and collaborative approach.

Background and experience sought:

• University Degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D.) within Electrical Power, Computer, Physics or Software Engineering.

• Preferably at least three years of experience in Model-based Development, testing and/or experience in working      with lithium-ion batteries, SoC/SoH.

•Tools used include: Matlab/Simulink, C++, AutoLab, DSC, TGA, IR, Raman

• Knowledge about AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 and/or FMEA.

• Experience in agile ways of working.

• Experience in testing (HiL) and requirement handling is meritorious.

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

• Driver’s license – B-level.
