We need to increase our capacity within IT Department to be able to meet Axis needs. We are therefore now looking for an IT Support Technician with Linux skills.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The IT Helpdesk team is part of the IT Department. Our responsibility is to provide and maintain a secure, reliable and effective IT infrastructure and Support at Axis. We are working with everything from new infrastructure development and future IT technologies to maintenance of existing IT environments and support. The IT Department is working in close cooperation with other departments at HQ, sales offices and productions sites around the world. The other teams in IT Department are IT Infrastructure and IT Operation. All three teams work close together with focus on Axis needs regarding IT.
Axis is growing rapidly and it is now time to welcome another colleague to the IT Helpdesk team.
As IT Support Technician you will support end users from all over the world handling technical support cases. Your main tasks will be:
• First line support via case management systems, telephone, visitors & onsite
• Install, configure and deliver new computers
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• User Accounts (Add / Change / Delete) in Active Directory
• Manage the purchase of computers and peripherals
• Continuously define and document procedures and processes
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a service-minded team player with an educational background in IT. You have at least two years of experience from working with IT.
We believe you have a genuine interest in IT and technology and an ability to deliver and explain problem solution for users at different levels. Furthermore you are a good communicator, speaking and writing Swedish and English on a very good level.
We believe you have:
* Support Debian or Ubuntu in an IT environment
* CFEngine knowledge
* Experience from case management tool
* Knowledge and understand TCP/IP
* Experience from working in Active Directory
* Basic Windows & Mac knowledge
* A pedagogical approach, both spoken and written
* Structured and organized
The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
