What we do

At Detectify we believe that the internet is broken from a security point of view, and we're working on making it more secure. Our founders are some of the best white hat hackers in the world and they've legally hacked tech giants like Google and Facebook. With this experience, we've built a cutting-edge automated website vulnerability scanner to help customers secure their web applications and fix vulnerabilities before they are discovered by malicious hackers. We want organisations and developers to learn about the security risks in their own code and improve it, while getting more time to do what they love; build awesome products.

In addition to our internal security research team, we collaborate with 150+ handpicked white-hat hackers. We automate this knowledge through our tool to ensure it is the most up-to-date security service in the world. We are trusted by some of the biggest and most widely known companies in the world, such as King, Trello and Spotify. We believe this takes us one step closer to making the internet a more secure place for all its users.

The role

As our product department grows time has now come to find the brilliant person that dares to be the first one to lead us through the methods and thinking of excellent UX design. This means that you among other things will set up processes for analyzing how our customers use our tool and where we can improve. Then you're the one to wireframe or prototype new features or modifying existing ones, depending on where you see that we can add both business value as well as end-user value.

We aim to make security simple and accessible, in this, you will also play an important role by being responsible for making sure that our products are intuitive and easy to use. Today we try to do this by turning common security terms like CVSS, OWASP, and attack vectors into something more user-friendly and tangible. You will be a crucial part in continuing this work and make it even better.

Being a part of the Detectify team doesn't mean that you only will develop and maintain the products that we have today. As our UX strategist, you will also be a part of making sure that the next generation of our security products will fit into our mission to make the internet a more secure place.
