We are now strengthening our R&D team with an Test Engineer for embedded systems

ADB Safegate provides the technology and solutions that make airports more efficient, safer and sustainable, and reduce their operational costs. We partner with airports and airlines to evaluate their existing operations, identify bottlenecks and jointly solve these challenges through integrated solutions that address airport operations from approach to departure.

ADB Safegate is a global company, in Malmö we are a small R&D SW team of four software developers with different expertise’s. We are working with our embedded system software in the areas of Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS).

We are now building up our test environment and methods and need to strengthen our team with an developer who is also passionate about testing, validation and verification. You will have the ability to improve and work practical with testing as well as developing our systems. In short, we need your help to develop new routines, to build new methods for our manual testing and help us to improve automated testing methods for our embedded and real-time systems.

We want you to be a member in our software team and with your expertise, and the know-how you have achieved from different assignments be part of the work with improving the quality assurance. You will also be spreading the knowledge to the rest of the team.

We work closely with our colleagues in other offices as well as with the team designing hardware and mechanics. The work is done within the team but includes contact with other departments.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a Bachelor degree or equivalent, in Computer Science or from a related Engineering discipline
• At least 3-5 years of experience from a similar position
• Experience of implementation, test and verification of embedded and/or "real-time" systems
• Good knowledge of different test methodologies and test techniques, including test automation
• Good knowledge of Python, C++, C# and/or C
• Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
Meritorious is;

• Swedish, German and/or additional languages is an asset
• Experience of different test frameworks
