Solution Architect

We are looking for a solution architect responsible for solutions currently implemented in over 55 countries and more to come!

We believe that you have been working as a developer and/or a solution architect previously. As a solution architect at H&M you will provide technical guidance, leadership and architectural expertise across projects and maintenance within our area. You will be responsible for incorporation of the IT strategy, area strategy, and target architecture plan into our projects as well as our daily deliveries. Further, you will participate in investigations concerning current systems, future solutions as well as or surrounding systems, analyzing and understanding business needs and requirements, carry out risk assessments and lots more.

You will be part of a team including business representatives, application experts, developers and testers. The team is distributed between Sweden, India and our country IT departments around the world. The role gives you a broad collaboration area and will give you a great next step to your H&M journey!

The systems you will work with are used for budget planning and follow up, as well as workforce planning in stores and warehouses worldwide. It is a crucial part for efficient planning and scheduling in the stores.

Your responsibilities

The job of a solution architect within the H&M group comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

- Provide technical guidance
- Implement IT strategies
- Provide a structured way-of-working regarding target architecture
- Create and review architectural plans
- Produce and implement guidelines for the design and development
- Implement and follow-up GDPR statistics
