Microwave designer (258291)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a developer in the Microwave and Millimeter wave technology area for Ericsson world-leading Microwave Radio products. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, radio system design, radio architecture design, hardware design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Develop and test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in the technical domain

Key Qualifications:

Education: BsC or MSc level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Min years of experience: Newly graduated or up to 2 years of experience.
Domain experience:
Some experience in Microwave and Millimeterwave radio design.
Some experience in Microwave and Millimeterwave test instruments such as spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, power meter and etc.
Some Experience RF/MW/mmW simulation tools, such as ADS, AWR and HFSS.
Experience in CAD tools, such as Cadence Allegro is a merit.
Scripting for test automation with MatLab, Python or similar is a merit.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge using agile methologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
