Academic Work is looking for a back-end developer to our customer Reve. Reve is a start-up company that offers their customers a unique app for shopping. Their vision is that e-commerce and physical retail should be integrated. They are placed in the center of Stockholm in SUP46 premises. SUP46 has been named "Mini-Google", where start-up businesses join in creative environments.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Reve is that all calls and e-mails regarding the position go to Academic Work.

For this assignement you will work as a consultant, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work but work as a consultant at Reve. The intention from Reve is that they will offer you a permanent employment, given that all parts are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a back-end developer you will lead the development of Reve's back-end doing API-driven development. Their app is developed in Ruby on Rails. You will be part of an international team of highly experienced professionals who all work together to develop the app. Your main task will be to build a platform that can be used by several hundred thousand users worldwide. In the current situation Reve's app are available on iOS, Android and as a web version. Their product is unique in the Nordic countries and the goal is to launch big in Sweden and then internationally. In recent months, the number of customers has increased significantly and to make it possible to launch internationally, more development is required.

You are solely responsible for the full development of Reve apps back-end, allowing yourself to control your own learning and competence.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
Has a relevant education within IT and has worked with back-end language during school hours such as Ruby and Python. We are not asking you to be a code-ninja but we are looking for you who are open to learn and who’ve been in contact with Ruby on rails during your studies. Furthermore, we see that you have an understanding of the web and how development takes place through HTML and JavaScript.

Since you will work in an international team, good English skills are required.
