Volvo Group Connected Solutions is a global organization within Volvo Group providing state of the art connected services with cutting edge technologies. Our connected services are provided with Volvo Group products across the globe and are available around the clock. They are developed on a micro-services platform and operated in a cloud environment.
We are now looking for an experienced and passionate IT specialist who wants to be part our team of highly engaged and skilled specialists who support Volvo Trucks solutions.

The role:
The application support specialist carries out 2nd line support by in-depth technical trouble shooting. This requires a good understanding of the user roles, the architecture, the features and the services provided. It will involve collaboration with teams based in Sweden, India and US.

The key responsibilities are:
Securing service availability by handling incidents and requests
Analyzing and resolving issues
Identifying bugs and potential solutions for such
Securing knowledge sharing and documentation
Managing service outage communication to customers and stakeholders
Contributing with solutions for automation and increased efficiency

Required knowledge and experience:
You should have a master’s degree within Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar. Knowledge and experience within the following areas are key:
Experience from application support and micro services platforms is an advantage

As we are a truly global and diverse company, most of the meetings and emails will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both spoken and writtten English. Swedish is an advantage.
