Global Design department is responsible for the industrial design and UX for all products and services, for all brands (i.e. Husqvarna, Gardena, McCulloch, Poulan Pro, Weed Eater, Flymo, Zenoah and Diamant Boart) within the Husqvarna Group. Global design is a core team of 22 people in Charlotte, US and Stockholm, SW.

As a UI Designer you will be involved in the development of our digital products from first concept to the release for all products and brands, always with the end user in mind. You will also have a tight collaboration with UX, Industrial and Surface Designers to guarantee that we stay true to our brand designs.

Responsibilities:
. Together with UX Designers and in close collaboration with the development team (DSS) develop a visual experience. An experience that is aligned with our brand strategy and UX strategy.
. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development
. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges.
. Create wireframes and other material to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas and deliver pixel perfect graphics.
. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
. Continuously develop our way of working, including improving our design guidelines, design system and best practices.

Key tasks:
. Develop pixel-perfect graphical user interface and go-to-market visuals.
. Work closely with UX Designers, Developers and produce technical design from concept to development to production.

Requirements:
. Bachelor/Master degree in Interaction design/Graphic Design
. Minimum 2 years of experience as a UI designer
. Solid experience in creating wireframes and necessary UI-deliveries
. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
. Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools

Desired:
. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

As this position requires you to work in a team as well as individually you have to possess good communication and presentation skills in an international environment. Creative thinking, problem solving, strong organizational skills and ability to run projects efficiently to meet deadlines are highly valued. Fluency in English is crucial since Husqvarna Group /Global design is an international company/department with co-workers from all over the world.
