Who We Are

We are looking for a Backend Tech Lead with expertise in microservices to join our engineering team building the next leading mobile banking app in the Nordics from the ground up.

We have a team of engineers, product managers, and product designers working on building our product. We are an agile team that ships frequently, commonly releasing to production 15+ times per day, and releasing new versions of our mobile apps as often as once per week. We’re continually shipping new features and refining our designs to give our customers the best possible experience.

You love to get things done through collaboration with other engineers on the team. You have worked building backend (micro)services in the cloud previously, and you are excited about joining us early in our journey to an advanced microservices architecture.

What You Will Do

• Act as the technical leader in a team of backend engineers.
• Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate services that serve our users.
• Drive good engineering practises within your team and define and teach these practices within the larger engineering community at the company.
• Become the go-to person to solve problems in your area of expertise.
• Mentor other engineers through hands-on collaboration.
• Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your team’s domain.
• Quickly iterate APIs with our mobile developers to provide the data and services our iOS and Android apps need to solve our customers’ problems.
• Bring knowledge of the technology ecosystem to the other engineers.

Must Haves

• At least five years of professional software engineering experience.
• You have used AWS, Heroku, or other cloud-based hosts at previous jobs.
• You are an EU citizen or otherwise already have the right to work in Sweden.
