Senior Embedded SW Engineer

You’ll support our customers’ product development strategies and help them to combine traditional products with the latest technologies.

Your next opportunity
We’re setting up a Center of Excellence and are now searching for 20 new members to our growth team of software developers and architects in our? Malmö?office. You will be a valuable part of our customers’ product development projects in 5G, IoT, Cloud and Automotive and work collaboratively with Tieto’s global Product Development Service team.

Could you be the perfect match? Yes, if you have /are:

Strong C / C++ programming skills
Multitalented in Linux technologies
M.Sc. Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Experienced in system models, design patterns and system architecture of embedded systems
Documented experience of previous embedded software projects
Experience from working in a Continuous Integration environment and from working with one or more version control system
Experiences in QA strategies and toolchains for low level projects
Passionate about agile concepts and team work
Excellent communication skills in English language, both verbal and written
Self-motivated, proactive and have a strong drive

In addition, we value if you have:
Experience working with wireless connectivity protocols for embedded systems (BT, BLE, NFC, WiFi) or cellular network protocols
Experience from having worked with Linux / embedded OS/RTOS on e.g. ARM (FreeRTOS, QNX, OSE)
Experienced in Android application/framework development
Experience of SW development close to HW SoC platforms (including porting, bring up)
Automotive industry knowledge and background (ISO 26262, SPICE, MISRA C/C++ rules, AUTOSAR, ADAS)
