Creature TD / Rigging Artist

We are now looking for a Creature TD / Rigging Artist to join us at Important Looking Pirates. You will be helping to create realistic creatures, vehicles, and digital doubles both real and fantastical in a VFX Centric Environment.

Essential Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of VFX experience working in Creatures/Rigging or equivalent
- Python scripting experience in procedural rigging
- Maya Proficiency
- Thorough experience in at least one area of the following: Complex motion systems, high quality deformations, muscle simulation, facial rigging, Cloth/Hair/Fur

Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years experience
- Experience as a Generalist TD or as an artist or TD in another discipline
- Experience producing high quality deformations using muscles and simulation
- Experience creating and/or integrating cloth and hair systems in a production environment
- Modeling/Shotsculpting ability in Maya/Zbrush/Mudbox
- PyQT/PySide/ Qt Designer experience
- Experience creating/integrating crowd solutions
- Motion Builder/Motion Capture Authoring/ Integration
- Experience writing Plugins in OpenMaya/C++
- Houdini experience

Requirements:
Documented experience working on high end movies and/or TV series.
