Information about the position: An English speaking Senior Developer is required for a new team in Krakow, Poland. The successful applicant will have extensive proven industry experience, preferably supporting back office applications is required for a new role on a new team in Krakow, Poland. This is a specialist role, with extensive experience in various software applications and aspects of software development required.
Position demands: Fluency in written and verbal English is essential, along with extensive proven industry experience in a role of a similar level. The applicant must be able to develop and support multi-function, complex applications, as well as being able to perform peer review of code, be 100% hands on in the development process, and gather requirements from business users.
You must be able to work on demand with production services during release windows, and perform post release checks and communicate status to the immediate stakeholders. The candidate also must be able to perform thorough unit testing of code, and able to perform regression and facilitate user acceptance test.
Hands on experience in Unix environment is essential, and experience in test driven development is preferred. Prior experience working with complex, multi-function applications involving middleware technologies would also be highly desirable.
Work Place: Krakow Poland. The beautiful capital of Poland, with low costs of living, a rich cultural heritage, and city centre properties with rent as low as ?200 a month.
Wages: 990.00 PLN/day, contractual based work.
Housing: A relocation package is negotiable.
