Information about the position: 2 English speaking Technical Leads with extensive proven industry experience, preferably supporting back office applications, are required for a new role on a new team in Krakow, Poland. This is a specialist role, with extensive experience in various software applications and aspects of software development required.
Position demands: Fluency in written and verbal English is essential, along with extensive proven industry experience in a role of a similar level. Considerable experience in Core Java is essential, along with experience with J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, and Unix Shell scripting.
The candidate will be expected to lead and manage software feature development, being able to define coding standards and design patterns, and being willing to be over 50% hands on with development.
The successful applicant will also be able to gather requirements from business users, maintain product backlog, and communicate priority of work. They will also be required to review code and work performed by their team, and serve as the primary contact for production services.
Understanding of QA requirements is essential, along with the various types of testing used. The applicant must have hands on experience in Unix environment. Experience in Test Driven Development is preferred, with prior experience working with complex multi function applications involving middleware technologies.
Work Place: Krakow Poland. The beautiful capital of Poland, with low costs of living, a rich cultural heritage, and city centre properties with rent as low as ?200 a month
Wages: 1524.00PLN/day, contractual based work.
Housing: A relocation package is negotiable.
