Academic Work is currently looking for an experienced software developer to be part of Consafe Logistics development department within the client organization, a mixed department with expertise in several different areas. The team consists of solution responsible, technical architects, application consultants and, of course, developers! Here, customized solutions are created based on their WMS product for worldwide clients. Do you want to understand the client's needs even better? You are more than welcome to join the application consultants on their travels, the better you understand the client, the better design and requirement specifications can be created! The team you will belong to has clients in Europe, China, Australia and the United States - a trip to the world's various corners is what can be expected once every quarter.

Your closest manager is careful to continually follow-up with each individual and to always keep the team up to date with the latest information - she wants to engage everyone in the decisions that are being taken, transparency is important. Here everyone's thoughts and opinions are equally important!

As a developer, you are an important part of the customized solutions - but also for the constant improvements in Consafe Logistics core product - their Warehouse Management System! The position is a direct recruitment which means that the recruitment process takes place through Academic Work, but you will be employed directly by Consafe Logistics AB.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
In the role as a developer, you will help develop Consafe Logistics WMS, that is, the whole logistics of a warehouse! The product is written in C and you will, amongst other things, work with claim degradation and design specifications according to the clients’ requirements. Therefore it is important to have a good understanding of both the product and the client's business and to be able to prioritize in the clients claims. In this role, it requires that you have a creative ability and can think long-term in the solutions that are being created - what value does this solution bring to the client and is this a solution we also want to create for our standard product?

Your job duties will also include working with database management, run C-Unity tests, be in a Linux environment, debug code, and use Git / Gerrit as a version control system.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have at least three years' experience of development in C
* Has experience within database management, Oracle or SQL
* Is comfortable in Linux environment
* Has experience of claim degradation and implementation
* Is fluent in English, both in speech and in writing. Meritorious if you are fluent in Swedish as well, as the whole team is Swedish-speaking.

It is meritorious if you:
* Have experience of some major software project and have worked with working methods around CI / CD, ie Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
* Have worked in a warehouse and therefor have an understanding for the process in the warehouse

You have no problem with breaking down problems in their constituents and always work to find the most effective solution.
