Graphic Designer to EU agency

Perido is looking for a Graphic Designer for an assignment at our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their beautiful office located in Stockholm.

In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You will:

• Develop design proposals for leaflets, posters, brochures and for web-based communication tools based on the corporate design of the agency
• Contribute to the visual identity of the agency by providing high quality lay-out services and create graphical solutions for the various scientific publications of the agency
• Support the internal communication team with design material for print and web (intranet) purposes, develop design proposals for leaflets, posters etc.
• Work closely with experts to produce infographics and data visualizations based on data and key messages.

To be successful in this role you need a high level of service orientation and customer service spirit. You have proven experience in graphic design/layout, excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as an excellent understanding of work flows and the production cycle of print and web-based publications. You have an ability to work under pressure, handle responsibilities and prioritize and plan your work accordingly. Furthermore, we believe that you enjoy building relationships and communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources.

Required qualifications

• University education or other relevant post-secondary education/relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in graphic design, layout and web design
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written

Meritorious

• Experience in data visualisation and working with scientific publications

Contract type and hours
Full time position, starting immediately. End date 2019-03-31.
