Software Engineer - C++ Developer

Mitel is an international organization with development centers in multiple countries. We are a top telecom provider in the world. Youwill be part of a team that develops and maintains our modern cloud collaboration client for enterprise communication. Our softphone application is used by 200,000+ users for VoIP calls, online collaboration, chatting and more. The application team is responsible to deliver collaboration and administrative solutions on top of the back-end infrastructure.

We are deploying SW components of our solution via AWS to reach our customers quickly and efficiently.

You are passionate about creating great software that lasts, and take pride and ownership in your work.

You should:

- Be an experienced C++ applications developer working with Windows and/or Mac platforms.
- You have strong OO design and programming skills in C++ with strong knowledge of multi-threaded applications
- You have experience with network protocols and designing with RESTful APIs
- Work in Visual Studio 2013 or later and/or XCode 8.x or later
- Have experience with C++ 11, Boost, and CMake
- Be proficient in using version control and continuous integration, with tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Write clear, maintainable and testable code that you are proud of.
- Care deeply about shipping software with high quality.
- Have experience with a variety of frameworks and strive to keep yourself updated with new frameworks, tools, and patterns that help you succeed in your work.
- Have a university degree in computer science or equivalent with 3+ years’ work experience

An added bonus is given if you

- Have experience with Atlassian’s Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
- Have experience with Maven, wxWidgets, CEF, Objective-C
- Have a telecom background with knowledge of WebRTC and SIP.
- Have experience with AWS SW deployment
- Enjoy debating design choices and sharing your knowledge with others
- Enjoy improving your work environment and build pipeline.

This position is placed at the Mitel Sweden headquarters in the Globen area of Stockholm.
